Cub Scout Leader Specific

Basic Training

It’s FREE!!!!!!

All Cub Scout boys deserve to have a trained leader.  This training is for ALL registered Cub Scout leaders and interested pack parents.  Portions of training will focus directly on your leadership position in the pack.  You will receive a Cub Scout Leader Book at this training and a wealth of information to run a successful den or pack program.  Pre-registration appreciated.  Contact Anna Hudak at 651-254-9112.

BALOO
Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation

An outdoor skills training program that will help you gain confidence in the outdoors and make your pack’s next outdoor experience an enjoyable time for all.  This training is required for packs that go camping off council-owned property.  This training is required to attend WOLF.

Webelos Leader Outdoor Fundamentals W.O.L.F.

 

 

A fun outdoor training experience for all Webelos den leaders and assistants and those who work with Webelos Scouts.  Learn about taking your Webelos Scouts camping and fun ideas to use in earning the outdoor activity badges at this full day of training.  Food, materials and patch included in fee.

POW WOW

A fantastic one-day extravaganza for Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing leaders with numerous class sessions, workshops, displays, demonstrations, and games.  See council website for registration information.

Opportunities

Ticket to Adventure

Open House for all new Cub Scouts and their families.  Come visit Camp Akela, Cannon Falls MN or Kiwanis Cub Camp, Marine on St. Croix, MN and get a taste of the summer program fun at these two resident camps.  Open House includes: camp tours, hayrides, archery or bb guns, games, and fun with the Cub Camp staff.

FREE.  No reservations required.

 

Polar Cubs Winter Day Camp

Spend a day in the snow having fun.  Activities include: snow tubing, winter nature activities, obstacle course, and games.

Reservations required.  Hot lunch included with fee.

 

Camp Akela Resident Camp or

Kiwanis Cub Camp

Weekends: June – August

This 3 day/2 night camp opportunity is for graduating Tiger Cubs, Wolf, and Bear Scouts and their adult partner to spend quality time together working on advancements, swimming, shooting archery and BB guns, crafts, outdoor skills, boating, games and much more.  Tent camping at Camp Akela; cabin camping at Kiwanis Cub Camp.  Reservations required.

 

Navajo Webelos Resident Camp

Tomahawk Scout Reservation, Rice Lake WI

For those Webelos completing 4th grade.  A 4 day/3 night camp opportunity for Webelos Scouts and their adult partner.  Get a taste of Boy Scout camp!  Reservations required.

 

Cub Scout Day Camp at Fred C. Andersen Camp

Webelos Adventure Days at Phillippo Scout Reservation

Weekday adventures in the outdoors at camp.  Includes advancement opportunities and FUN!
